COURSE DESCRIPTION: Using science to uncover the past! This introductory course in forensic science provides participants with knowledge of the basic elements that constitute this quite exciting and fascinating field of scientific enquiry. Further, the course exposes participants to the varied techniques often adopted in performing forensic investigations noting some of their limitations.

Importantly, the multiplicity of applications of forensics to contemporary times and real-life scenarios are demonstrated. The many careers available in this field, as well as, the relevant laws in Trinidad and Tobago are also addressed.
