COURSE DESCRIPTION: Too often, managers, supervisors and human resource personnel have to deal with the troubling issues of employee absenteeism and lateness. This not only negatively affects the performance of organizations, but also hampers the day-to-day operations and puts additional stress on others “to take up the slack.” Therefore, it is essential that efforts are made to truly understand the underlying causes of these problems, and of course, to address them. This course tackles such issues as it makes sterling recommendations to “nip it in the bud” also.

Notably, the course delves heavily into the range of effective strategies that can be adopted by the organization to reduce both employee absenteeism and lateness. But, more importantly, it presents tested approaches that will facilitate employees themselves achieving excellent work attendance and on-time levels – a feat that targets intrinsic motivational imperatives.

All in all, the course targets both policy and operations dimensions to both these human resource challenges that impacts heavily on organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
